Preparing Charlotte's Bedroom

We've been busily working to get Charlotte's room ready for her. We changed the paint color from yellow (which we have both hated for two years!) to green. We hung curtains and Bryan and Darrin built a closet unit so we could start putting her things away. Notice the insanely large amount of clothes she already has! Note that that picture shows only half of what we have so far!! Now we need to finish the moulding and order the furniture!

Tummy Progression

In the past months, Gretchen's tummy has been steadily growing. Here is a progression of some pictures from the beginning of our journey through today. It started at 4 weeks, moved to the beginning of the 2nd trimester and continues now, at 25 weeks.

We're attempting to try out the blogging world!

Hello all!

Bryan and I made a feeble attempt to join the blogging world several months ago, but unfortunately, after posting a message and several pictures, I was unable (in my pregnant state) to remember the username/password for the account, so ALAS, we are starting over! (This time I will write the information down!) We hope you enjoy joining us on the remainder of our journey through our pregnancy - only about 15 weeks to go!

For those of you who don't know, this pregnancy has been an up and down adventure for us from the beginning. We were blessed to get pregnant very quickly, and then in turn blessed with severe morning sickness (which needed to be treated with medication) horrible food aversions, weight loss and one scary trip to the emergency room for dehydration in mid Decemeber. Since around Christmas, however, the road has been paved and the experience has been much more enjoyable. We are now anxiously awaiting the arrival of our little girl, Charlotte April, who should arrive at the end of May. We hope and pray everyday for a healthy baby and know that she will bring so much joy to our lives. Thank you to everyone who is sharing this exciting journey with us!!
